How do humans feel happy?

Humans feel happy from various emotional, psychological, and physical factors, such as positive experiences and memories, social connections and relationships, achievement of personal goals, and the release of certain neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin in the brain. The exact causes of happiness vary significantly between individuals and depend on various life circumstances.

It is released in response to pleasurable experiences, such as eating, exercising, or accomplishing a goal. Low levels of dopamine can lead to depression and a lack of motivation.

Serotonin: is a neurotransmitter that is involved in regulating mood, appetite, and sleep. It is sometimes referred to as the “feel-good” neurotransmitter and is thought to play a role in feelings of well-being and happiness. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression and anxiety.

Both dopamine and serotonin can be influenced by various factors, such as genetics, environment, lifestyle, and medication, and can impact mood and behaviour.

The release of dopamine and serotonin, which are neurotransmitters involved in regulating mood, can be triggered by a variety of stimuli, including:
